Affairs can have a devastating impact for individuals, couples, and families.  However, not all affairs are alike, and the healing process can vary depending on affair dynamics and motivations. Attending this workshop will enable you to:

  • Describe the power of attachment theory in understanding the impact of affairs.

  • Identify common myths associated with affairs.

  • Identify 3 underlying motivations for affairs.

  • Identify 7 types of affairs.

  • Describe key interventions to help end an affair.

  • Describe key elements in affair disclosure.

  • Utilize basic EFT interventions to help people who have affairs to validate the suffering of their partners without going into shame.
